Charitable Giving in 2020 – Year in Review

Last year lives were changed with the global pandemic and wildfires that destroyed so many of our communities.  Lives were also touched by how people and grass roots organizations responded to these crises.  Sereno’s agents also stepped up, and through our 1% For Good Charitable Foundation, we gave over $400,000 in grants to our local communities in 2020.

The Sereno 1% For Good Charitable Foundation had humble beginnings in 2012 with its first donation of $5k to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue program. After 8 years of giving, Sereno agents’ contributions total over $3.7 million and have impacted over 255 local organizations in 4 counties.  Thank you to my clients and community for making the efforts of 1% For Good possible!  Please contact me if you’d like a local charity you support to be considered for a 1% For Good grant!
